Das Energi Festival is the Mountain West's flagship electronic music event, returning to The Great Saltair on the shore of the Great Salt Lake from August 7–9, 2026 for the first three-day edition in the festival's 14-year history. Produced by V2 Presents, Das Energi has earned a cult reputation as one of the most visually stunning festivals in North America — the sun setting over the Great Salt Lake against the Wasatch Mountains provides a backdrop that no production designer could invent. The 2026 expansion to three nights marks the most ambitious edition yet.
The 2026 edition spans multiple stages, covering bass, house, techno, trance, dubstep, drum and bass, and the full breadth of mainstream and underground electronic music. The festival's programming consistently lands a mix of arena headliners, underground breakouts, and rising acts — the curation team treats Das Energi as a chance to build a complete electronic-music story over three nights rather than a series of disconnected mainstage drops. The bill itself is published on the festival's own site at dasenergifestival.com.
The Great Saltair itself is part of the experience. Built in 1893 as a Victorian-era amusement pavilion, the current Saltair concert venue sits directly on the lakeshore, giving Das Energi a permanent waterfront stage with the Wasatch Mountains framing every sunset. The crowd skews knowledgeable and music-first — attendees from Salt Lake, Park City, Provo, and across the Mountain West, joined by traveling festival-goers who fly in specifically for this venue. This is one of the few festivals where the location is genuinely the draw.
