Tale of Us is an Italian DJ and production duo made up of Carmine Conte and Matteo Milleri, who met in Milan in 2008 and now base themselves in Berlin. Together they helped define modern melodic techno — a lush, cinematic sound that blends classical-leaning emotion with deep, driving rhythm.
After a run of acclaimed EPs like Another Earth and North Star, they founded the Afterlife label and audiovisual event series in 2016, which grew into one of electronic music's most immersive brands. Their 2017 album Endless arrived alongside a deal with the classical label Deutsche Grammophon.
