CRSSD Proper NYE 2026, which the promoter bills as Proper NYE/NYD 26/27, takes place on Thursday, December 31, 2026 and Friday, January 1, 2027 at Petco Park, 100 Park Blvd, San Diego, CA 92101, the downtown ballpark of the San Diego Padres. It is produced by FNGRS CRSSD, the San Diego promoter behind CRSSD Festival, and this is the fifth edition. The official ticket page lists the hours as 3:00pm to 12:30am on New Year's Eve and 2:00pm to 10:00pm on New Year's Day, so you ring in 2027 on the field. Every ticket is 21+ and you need a valid government photo ID at the gate.
The first lineup, announced on September 1, 2026, has 41 acts listed A to Z on the official lineup page with a note that more will be announced. Sara Landry, I Hate Models, Klangkuenstler and Nico Moreno cover hard techno, Lane 8 brings his melodic deep house, and Cloonee, KETTAMA and Josh Baker each play solo and then join up for a B3B. Chris Lorenzo, Green Velvet, Odd Mob, Cassian, Ben Sterling, SOSA, Westend, SIDEPIECE, OMNOM, Omar+, Murda Beatz and a Max Dean B2B Luke Dean fill out the house side, and Japan's ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U and Eli Brown push the tempo. The poster also lists two stage takeovers: Lane 8's This Never Happened (Qrion, Robby East, Otherwish and more) and San Diego producer Player Dave's Daisy Chain (INVT, umru, canary yellow). The official lineup is not split by day yet, and set times come out close to the event in the official app.
Petco Park is a 40,000-plus-seat Major League ballpark, and the festival spreads five stages across the field and the stadium grounds, according to the lineup announcement and the "5 STAGES / 21+" line on the official info page. The official FAQ says the event is cashless (credit, debit, Apple Pay and Google Pay), has first aid stations marked on the festival map, free water fountains for refilling a 32oz or smaller empty plastic bottle, two Guest Services desks (one near Hodad's and the lockers, one in the concourse across from the Lexus Lounge), designated smoking corrals at the Park Blvd Gate and behind the Trevor Hoffman deck, and food with vegan and vegetarian options. The thing that sets Proper apart from most New Year's parties is the setting: a full stadium turned into a house and techno festival on the last night of the year, with most of the lower bowl seating covered if it rains, and official after parties on both nights.
