Our festival flags measure 3′ × 5′ (36″ × 60″) and are printed on one side of light 100% polyester organza, with a tunnel along one edge for your own pole. What is a rave totem?
A rave totem is a tall pole or stick that someone in your group holds up in the crowd, topped with something easy to spot — a flag, a sign, an inflatable or lights. It's a meeting point: if anyone gets separated, they look for the totem. A flag is a classic topper because it's light, big and readable from far away.
How do I make a rave totem with a flag?
Use a light, thin pole such as half-inch PVC, slide the flag's side tunnel onto it, then wrap tape around the pole just below the flag so it can't slip down. Keep it light enough to hold up for a set, pad the bottom end, and add LED strips for night visibility. Always check your festival's rules first — many events limit totem height or material, and some ban them.
What size are your rave flags, and what are they made of?
Every flag is 3′ × 5′ (36″ × 60″) — the classic flag size, big enough to read from the back of a crowd and light enough for a totem. It's made of extra-light 100% polyester organza (110 gsm), printed in full colour on one side with a satin finish. The edges are double-stitched. Machine wash it cold without bleach, let it drip dry, iron it on low if needed, and don't dry clean it.
Does a rave flag come with a pole?
No. Our flags come without a pole or any fastenings. Each one has a 2.68-inch tunnel sewn along one side, so it slides onto your own pole. For pole tips and festival totem rules, see our guide on how to make a rave totem.
Can I hang a rave flag as a tapestry?
Yes — it hangs easily on a wall with hooks or tacks, and the printed polyester works as a wall tapestry or backdrop for photos, streams and dorm rooms. After the festival, bring it home and keep it up as a souvenir.
