What is Florida Groves Festival 2027?

Florida Groves Music Festival 2027 runs Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11, 2027 at the Central Florida Fairgrounds, 4603 W Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32808, home of the Orlando Amphitheater. It bills itself as a music, art and freedom festival, and cannabis culture is part of the program through its Green Grove. The festival was co-founded by Cody Edwards and Patrick Gay of Dab Day Productions, the team behind Florida's 710 Dab Day events, and first ran in 2022 (the official site marked 2026 as its fifth year); tickets are sold on Tixr under FL Groves. The official FAQ says the show is all ages and children under 6 get in free. Official 2027 hours are not posted yet; Visit Orlando lists 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and the 2026 edition ran 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM Saturday and 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM Sunday.

The 2027 lineup has not been announced yet as of 3 Oct 2026. The official lineup page still shows the 2026 roster of 45 acts, led by Goose and Daily Bread with Hippie Sabotage, Dirtwire, Big Something, SunSquabi, Maddy O'Neal, Canabliss, SIPPY, Lumasi and Come Back To Earth: Mac Miller Live Band Tribute. In 2026 the festival used four stages: the Main Stage, a grass amphitheater on Lawne Lake with the largest capacity; the shaded Pavilion Stage, which holds several thousand people; the Bass Yard, where Florida DJs play from the Maestro Bass Bus; and the new Sessions Stage, a shaded stage for Florida's reggae scene and local acts. The 2025 edition was headlined by Oliver Tree and Big Gigantic, according to Orlando Weekly.

The fairgrounds sit about 10 minutes west of Downtown Orlando. Beyond the music, the official site lists an Art Grove with muralists painting large installations and live glassblowing demonstrations, a Tattoo Grove where you can book appointments, a Vendor Grove, workshops, and the Green Grove, where doctors are on-site if you want to apply for a Florida medical marijuana card (you do not need one to attend). Lockers with phone charging are run by Mobile Charging Lockers. What makes Florida Groves different from most Florida festivals is the mix: jam bands, bass DJs and reggae share the bill with art, tattoos and cannabis culture, and unlike most multi-stage festivals it is open to all ages. Organizers told Orlando Weekly in 2025 they expected 6,000 to 8,000 unique attendees across the weekend.

Travel & Planning Guide

The official Getting There page says the Central Florida Fairgrounds are about 25 minutes from Orlando International Airport (MCO) and 10 minutes west of Downtown Orlando, with Universal Orlando about 20 minutes away and the Disney parks about 30 minutes away. Put Central Florida Fair, 4603 W Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32808 into your maps app. The entrance for parking and all attendee drop-off is at the light at West Colonial Dr and Pete Parrish Blvd. The 2026 FAQ said venue parking was $20 and that rideshare drop-off is welcome.

Camping is not permitted at the festival grounds on any day. The Getting There page lists nearby options instead: Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake, about 12 to 15 minutes away, with cabins for 10+ people from $50 plus RV and tent sites; Wekiwa Springs State Park and Moss Park, each just under 30 minutes away; and Trimble Park and Lake Mills Park, about 30 minutes away. For hotels, the official FAQ points you to the festival's hotel partners, and in 2026 travel packages were sold through Jampack.

There is no re-entry, and the festival runs rain or shine with no refunds, according to the official Info & FAQ. In 2026 the box office and will call opened at noon at the main festival gates, an hour before music, and you had to park or be dropped off to reach it. Pets and emotional support animals are not allowed, but registered service dogs are. Lockers with charging are available through Mobile Charging Lockers, so you can store a layer and a power bank and keep your bag small.

What to Know Before You Go

⏳
Join The Early Bird Waitlist Now

The official site says all Florida Groves 2027 loyalty tickets are sold out, and the 2027 Early Bird Waitlist is now the only way to get priority access to the next tier at the lowest price. Waitlist members are notified before the public on-sale, and prices rise with each release. For scale, the 2026 early bird weekend pass was $84.99 GA and $169.99 VIP on Tixr in November 2025.

🎒
Bring A Clear Or Single-Pocket Bag

The official allowed list covers clear bags under 12 x 6 x 12 inches, small single-compartment bags, fanny packs and hip bags, and hydration packs. Large purses or backpacks that are not clear are prohibited, and so are duffle bags of any size. Keep sunscreen as lotion, hand sanitizer under 2 ounces, and feminine products sealed so you clear the gate quickly.

🌀
Your Totem And Flow Toys Can Come

Unlike most festivals, Florida Groves lists flow toys and totems on its allowed items list, along with blankets and beach towels up to 8 x 8 feet, rain ponchos and empty personal misting fans. Umbrellas, tents, canopies, foldable lawn chairs, wagons, lasers, selfie sticks, face or ski masks and costumes that look like public safety uniforms are all prohibited.

💧
Pack Water The Way They Allow It

You can bring one factory-sealed bottle of drinking water plus a hydration pack or an empty Nalgene or plastic bottle, per the official FAQ. Outside food and beverages, alcohol, flasks, outside cans, cups, coolers, ice and ice packs are prohibited. An April afternoon in Orlando can be hot and the music starts around midday, so fill up early and keep refilling inside.

🚗
Use The Pete Parrish Blvd Entrance

The Getting There page says parking and all attendee drop-off use the entrance at the light at West Colonial Dr and Pete Parrish Blvd. The 2026 FAQ listed venue parking at $20, and rideshare drop-off is welcome. Since there is no re-entry, decide before you park whether you need anything from the car, and set a meeting point for your rideshare pickup after the last set.

🌿
Know What The Green Grove Is

The Green Grove is the festival's cannabis-culture area. The official FAQ says you do not need a medical marijuana card to attend, but doctors will be on-site if you want to apply for one. Illegal substances, drugs and drug paraphernalia remain on the prohibited list, and the event is all ages, so check the 2027 rules on the official site before you assume anything about consumption on the grounds.
