What is Force Fields Festival 2027?

Force Fields 2027 is the third edition of an alien-themed EDM and bass camping festival in western Wisconsin. It runs Friday, June 4 and Saturday, June 5, 2027, per the official Force Fields site, at the Chippewa Valley Festival Grounds, 24447 County Highway S, Cadott, WI 54727. It is produced by Chippewa Valley Music Festivals, the company behind Rock Fest and Hoofbeat on the same grounds, and the promoter is Wade Asher. The official FAQ says it is all ages, with anyone 16 and under accompanied by a parent or guardian. The official site bills 2027 as Episode III, Celestial Summons. As of October 20, 2026 it had not posted hours or ticket prices.

The 2027 lineup has not been announced; the official lineup page reads "landing soon". The previous edition, Episode II: The Resonance Effect on June 5 and 6, 2026, had Zeds Dead, Tape B, San Holo and TroyBoi on Friday and Ganja White Night, LSDREAM, Clozee, Dillon Francis and Boogie T on Saturday, plus a free Thursday pre-party called First Contact with Of The Trees, per WEAU. The inaugural 2025 edition was led by Marshmello, Rezz and RL Grime. Stages named on the official site include The Mothership (main stage), The Harvest, and Origins, the campground stage.

The festival grounds are a permanent hayfield site on County Highway S outside Cadott, about 40 minutes from Eau Claire. The official camping page says all 7,500 campsites are within walking distance of the concert grounds, with free showers, a campground shuttle, and two Marketbass convenience stores. What sets Force Fields apart from most bass festivals is the policy list: re-entry is allowed, clear bags of any size are fine, kids 5 and under get in free with a paid GA adult, and pets are welcome on a leash in the campgrounds. The 2026 upgrades page added two new campgrounds, Outer Bass and Deep Bass, and a half-mile wooded trail.

Travel & Planning Guide

Cadott is in Chippewa County, about 40 minutes east of Eau Claire, and the grounds are at 24447 County Highway S. The official getting here page lists Chippewa Valley Regional Airport in Eau Claire (37 minutes away) and Minneapolis-Saint Paul International (MSP), with a Groome Transportation shuttle from MSP to Eau Claire. Greyhound drops off at the McDonald's at 6251 Truax Ln in Eau Claire, 42 minutes from the grounds. General Parking is next to the concert grounds and campgrounds, campers get one vehicle per site, and the page warns that rideshare waits peak between midnight and 3:30 AM.

Most people camp. The official camping page lists 7,500 campsites, each 18 by 40 feet, for up to six people, one vehicle and one tent or RV, and everyone in the campgrounds needs a Camp Access Pass plus a festival wristband. Electric sites have 30 and 15 amp hookups, glamping has a waitlist, and RVshare rentals can be delivered to your site. If you would rather sleep in a bed, the hotels and shuttles page sells One N Only packages at the AmericInn by Wyndham Chippewa Falls, with shuttle pick-ups there and at the Fairfield by Marriott Eau Claire and Country Inn & Suites Chippewa Falls.

Early Landing is free: the camping gates open Wednesday from noon to 8 PM, then stay open 24/7 from Thursday at 9 AM. All campers must be out by Monday at 4 PM. Showers are free and open around the clock except during cleaning windows, the Marketbass stores sell ice, snacks, beer and chargers, and ice delivery runs Friday and Saturday by text. Quiet hours are 2:30 AM to 7 AM. Wristbands are registered to you and non-transferable per the festival policy, all sales are final, and the festival runs rain or shine.

What to Know Before You Go

🚐
Use Early Landing on Wednesday

Early Landing is free with your camping, per the official camping page: the gates open Wednesday from noon to 8 PM, and from Thursday at 9 AM they stay open 24/7. Arriving Wednesday gets you a calm setup and your pick of time before the Thursday rush. Bring your camper sticker, because RVs and campers cannot enter without it, and bring blocking to level your rig, since some sites in the hayfield are uneven.

🔁
Re-entry is allowed, so plan breaks

Unlike most festivals, Force Fields lets you come and go. The official FAQ says re-entry is allowed and suggests exploring nearby lakes, rivers and state parks between sets. Concert gates ran 1 PM to 2:30 AM on Friday and Saturday in 2026, so it is a long day. Go back to camp for food, shade and a nap, as long as your wristband and vehicle stickers stay activated and intact.

🎒
Clear bags of any size work

The official pack list allows clear bags of any size and type, plus non-clear clutches up to 5 x 7 inches. Clear hydration packs are fine in any style; non-clear packs need minimal pockets and must be empty at the gate. Blankets, strollers, inflatable loungers up to 35 inches and wagons are allowed in the concert grounds. Lawn chairs, coolers, outside food and drinks, pets and pro cameras are not.

🌧️
Pack for a wet Wisconsin June

Early June near Eau Claire averages highs in the mid 70s°F and lows in the mid 50s°F, and June is the wettest month of the year there on Weather Spark's averages. The festival runs rain or shine on a grass and crushed granite site. The official packing list starts with rainboots for good reason. Add a warm layer for after midnight, since sets run until about 2:30 AM.

🔥
Know the campsite rules

Each 18 by 40 foot site holds one vehicle, one sleeping unit and up to six people, and anything that does not fit needs a second site. Ground fires are banned, but self-contained fire rings are allowed and can be rented for $10 a weekend at the Marketbass. Generators louder than 60 dB at 10 feet must be off from 2:30 AM to 7 AM. Leave the site clean or face a $100 fine.

🎟️
Buy only from the official site or Etix

The official tickets page says it can only guarantee tickets bought directly from Force Fields or Etix, and the festival policy says scalped and roadside tickets are not honored. Wristbands are registered to the wearer and non-transferable, and all sales are final. GA, camping and parking are separate purchases, so add a Camp Access Pass and a parking pass if you need them. 2027 prices were not posted on the official site as of October 20, 2026, when the presale opened.
