Basscon Wasteland Festival is the West Coast's definitive celebration of hardstyle, hardcore, and hard dance — Insomniac's flagship hard-dance event returning to the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino on September 4–5, 2026 for an expanded two-day, three-stage format. Wasteland 2026 marks a significant evolution for the festival, opening the door beyond pure hardstyle to a broader interpretation of hard dance including hard techno, frenchcore, and uptempo, with curated stage takeovers from Basscon, Mutate, and Unreal Germany.
The 2026 edition is built around the global hard-dance scene, a world that runs from hardstyle to the harder-edged, European side of hard techno.
NOS Events Center is purpose-built for festivals of this scale — the 30,000+ capacity venue gives Wasteland room to stretch out across three full-production stages, multiple bars, food vendor villages, and the kind of pyrotechnic stage builds that hardstyle production demands. The crowd is the most loyal in electronic music, with Wasteland regulars coming back year after year for the community, the kicks, and the gabber pit energy that no other U.S. festival delivers at this scale. This is hard-dance done right.
