Wasteland Orlando 2027 is the first Florida edition of Wasteland, the hard dance festival run by Basscon, Insomniac's hard dance brand. It takes place on Friday, February 5 and Saturday, February 6, 2027 at the Orlando Amphitheater at the Central Florida Fairgrounds, 4603 W Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32808. The official Hours & Info page lists event times of 5 PM to 12 AM and says you must be 18+ with valid photo ID. Insomniac's announcement calls it the festival's first time on the East Coast; until now Wasteland has run in Southern California and as a stage at EDC Las Vegas.
The 2027 lineup has not been announced; the official lineup page said "Coming Soon" on October 3, 2026. Insomniac's announcement promises 40+ artists across three newly designed stages, hosted by Basscon, by Insomniac's hard techno brand Mutate, and by the German promoter Unreal, which produces an exclusive stage. The genre brief on the official site is hardstyle, hard techno and hardcore, "built for 150+ BPM". For a sense of the booking style, the Southern California edition of Wasteland, on September 4 and 5, 2026 at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, featured Angerfist, Sub Zero Project, D-Sturb, Darren Styles, DJ Isaac and Kayzo.
The Central Florida Fairgrounds sits on West Colonial Drive about 15 minutes west of downtown Orlando, and the festival uses its outdoor amphitheater with three stages. The official guide says Wasteland Orlando is cashless (cards and phone wallets, with cash exchangeable on site for a prepaid card), has free water refill stations, food stands with vegan and vegetarian options, bars serving beer and liquor to 21+ guests, and rentable lockers with built-in phone chargers. The VIP tier adds dedicated viewing areas and VIP food and drink, and VIP areas are 21+. What sets this edition apart is the focus: there is no house or bass stage, just three rooms of hardstyle, hard techno and hardcore, in February, in Florida.
