What is Beyond Wonderland SoCal 2027?

Beyond Wonderland SoCal is Insomniac's Alice in Wonderland themed festival in Southern California. The 2027 edition runs Friday, March 26 and Saturday, March 27, 2027 at NOS Events Center, 689 S E St, San Bernardino, CA 92408, in the Inland Empire. The official FAQ lists festival hours of 3 PM to 2 AM and afterparty hours of 2:15 AM to 6 AM, and the Insomniac event page also shows a 3:00 PM start and 2:00 AM finish; the Hours & Info page still listed hours as TBA on October 3, 2026, so check again before you go. You must be 18+ to enter, with photo ID, and 21+ for alcohol and VIP.

The 2027 lineup has not been announced yet. The official lineup page still showed the 2026 lineup on October 3, 2026: about 130 billings led by Tiësto, Deorro, Gareth Emery, Holy Priest and Matroda, with Zedd, SLANDER, GRiZ, Steve Angello, Benny Benassi, TroyBoi, Alison Wonderland and Vini Vici. Insomniac's 2026 lineup announcement described all shades of bass, house, trance and techno, with curated takeovers from Dreamstate, Lost In Dreams, Basscon, Bassrush, Factory 93 and Night Trip. The Experience page lists six stages: Queen's Domain, Mad Hatter's Castle, Caterpillar's Garden, Cheshire Woods, The Looking Glass and Sea of Wonder.

NOS Events Center, the National Orange Show grounds, started in 1911 as a citrus exhibit and now covers more than 120 acres with 150,000 square feet of indoor space, according to the official Getting There page; Insomniac also runs Escape and Countdown there. Beyond Wonderland's distinct touch is the theming: costumed performers playing Alice, the Queen and other characters, a Mad Tea Party area, games, arts and crafts and rides. The festival is cashless, has free water refill stations, lockers with phone chargers, and a SkyDeck with bottle-service tables overlooking Queen's Domain for groups of 6 to 30. There is no camping and no re-entry.

NOS Events Center is at 689 S E St in San Bernardino, just off I-215 and I-10. The official Airports page lists LA/Ontario International (ONT) as closest at 19.8 miles, then John Wayne (SNA), Burbank (BUR) and LAX at 76.9 miles. The Parking page says general parking is free in several surrounding lots, with the Yellow, Green, Blue and Pink lots opening at 2 PM and the Tan and Purple lots opening at 4 PM with free park and ride shuttles. From I-215 North, it recommends Exit 43 to 2nd St for the Purple, Blue and Green lots. Rideshare drop-off and pickup is at the Big Lots parking lot off Orange Show Rd and Arrowhead Ave.

There is no camping, and sleeping in cars is not allowed; vehicles left in the lots after the festival closes each night are towed. The Getting There page links an official hotel booking portal with Insomniac rates at area hotels. The Shuttles page lists a hotel shuttle from the Best Western Ontario Airport, 201 N Vineyard Ave, Ontario, with departures from 3:30 PM and a last return at 2:30 AM, plus round-trip city shuttles from Downtown LA (USC), Fullerton, Mission Hills and Riverside. Shuttle passes are redeemed at your stop with your confirmation email and photo ID.

Passes are sold through Front Gate Tickets, limited to four per person, and the FAQ says to buy only from Front Gate. Every entrant goes through a TSA-style search including a pat-down, and there are no ins and outs, so pack for the full night. Bring a physical government ID; foreign driver's licenses need a color photocopy of your passport and do not qualify for a 21+ wristband. The festival is cashless (cards, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Android Pay), and cash can be swapped onsite for a prepaid card. Lost and found is by the main entrance during the show.

Pick your lot before you leave

Parking is free in multiple lots, but they open at different times: Yellow, Green, Blue and Pink at 2 PM, Tan and Purple at 4 PM with free park and ride shuttles. The official Parking page says to use Exit 43 to 2nd St from I-215 North and to avoid Exit 41 to Orange Show Rd unless you are ADA, SkyDeck, Premier, rideshare or dropping off. Pin your car and photograph nearby signs, and leave nothing valuable inside.

Pack to the bag rules

The Hours & Info page allows clear bags up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches, small clutches up to 6 x 9 inches, and empty hydration packs with no more than two main compartments plus one small one. Expect a TSA-style search with a pat-down. Outside food, candy, over-the-counter medication, aerosols, glass, gas masks and red light-up wands are all banned, and totems must be lightweight and no taller than 10 feet.

Bring the right ID

Beyond Wonderland is strictly 18+, and the FAQ says no one under 18 gets in, even with a guardian. You need a physical government photo ID: digital IDs, school IDs, consular IDs and photocopies are rejected. Foreign driver's licenses need a color copy of your passport and will not get you a 21+ wristband. If you bought VIP and are under 21, the FAQ allows an even exchange to GA but no refund.

Use the free water stations

Insomniac runs free water refill stations, marked with a water droplet on the festival map. You can bring an empty reusable bottle, an empty hydration pack and even a personal misting fan with an empty bottle up to 1.5 liters. Late-March San Bernardino highs run about 69 to 74°F and lows around 46°F, so you will be warm dancing at 5 PM and cold walking to the lot at 2 AM.

Shuttle if you are staying out of town

The official Shuttles page lists a hotel shuttle from the Best Western Ontario Airport running from 3:30 PM, with the last return at 2:30 AM, plus city shuttles from Downtown LA near USC, the Fullerton Park and Ride, the Granada Hills Park and Ride in Mission Hills and the Riverside Convention Center. Returns leave 30 minutes after music ends. Your pass only works at the stop you bought it for, so pick the right one.

Leave the cash at home

Beyond Wonderland is cashless: credit, debit, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Android Pay are accepted, and cash can be exchanged onsite for a prepaid card. Rent a locker if you want somewhere to stash a jacket and charge your phone; each one has a universal charger and fits a backpack. The VIP pass adds dedicated VIP lockers, water stations, charging and restrooms for 21+ ticket holders.
