EDSea is Insomniac's festival at sea, the cruise version of EDC, run with cruise producer Sixthman and travel company Vibee. The 2027 edition, its fourth voyage, is a five-night round trip on the Norwegian Joy from the Port of Miami, 1015 N America Way, Miami, FL 33132. Boarding is Tuesday, January 26, 2027 (the terminal closes at 5:00 PM ET), and the ship returns to Miami on Sunday, January 31, with disembarkation from about 7:30 AM, per the official FAQ. It moves from its usual November slot to January for this edition. Guests, whom EDSea calls Headliners, must be 21 or older as of January 26, 2027.
The 2027 lineup had not been announced as of October 3, 2026; the official lineup page only offers a sign-up for the release. The previous voyage, November 1–6, 2025 on the same ship, featured Disclosure (DJ set), Jamie Jones, Armand Van Helden, Sara Landry, Ganja White Night, ISOxo and Dombresky, as reported by TicketNews and EDM Maniac. The official ship page promises 8 stages on Norwegian Joy, and the official FAQ says the festival runs "festival style" with shows on multiple stages at once, all general admission, with most artists playing more than once.
Norwegian Joy has 11 dining options, multiple bars, a casino, go-karts, pools, hot tubs and waterslides, per the official ship page. The ship arrives at Harvest Caye, Norwegian's private island in southern Belize, at 1:30 PM on Thursday, January 28 and stays overnight before leaving at 6:30 AM on Friday, January 29; the official port page describes a 7-acre beach, a pool with a swim-up bar, zip-lining and a saltwater lagoon. What makes EDSea different is the Insomniac touch: day and night costume themes, Kandi Crafting, Rave Bingo, a Battle of the Beats open-decks contest, yoga and sound baths, and genre mixers for house, bass, techno, UKG and drum and bass fans, all listed on the official experience page.
