What is Haunted Fest Cincinnati 2026?

Haunted Fest Cincinnati is a two-night Halloween electronic music event at the outdoor side of MegaCorp Pavilion, 101 W 4th St, Newport, Kentucky, on the Ohio River directly across from Cincinnati. It runs Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31, 2026. Breakaway Presents produces it with PromoWest Productions, which runs the venue. PromoWest lists doors at 6 PM both nights, and the event is all ages, outdoors and rain or shine.

The official Haunted Fest Cincinnati page lists eight artists. Friday, October 30 is Knock2, Starjunk 95, Nikita, The Wicked and Chasing Stones, a Cincinnati duo of Chase McFadden and DJ Stoney, per Local 12. Saturday, October 31 is GRiZ, Avello, Steller and Star Seed. Set times and the site map are marked coming soon, and the number of stages has not been announced yet.

MegaCorp Pavilion is a riverfront venue with an indoor music hall, an indoor club and an outdoor amphitheater, and the official poster bills this event at MegaCorp Pavilion Outdoor. PromoWest's FAQ says food, drinks and an ATM are available on site, and the official page lists a Mela Watermelon Water activation. Local 12 reports this edition follows Cincinnati-area Haunted Fests in 2024 and 2025, and that the series began in Columbus in 2014. Unlike the 18+ Atlanta, Charleston and St. Pete editions, Cincinnati is open to all ages.

MegaCorp Pavilion is at 101 W 4th St, Newport, KY 41071, on the riverfront across the Ohio River from downtown Cincinnati. Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) is the nearest major airport. PromoWest's directions and parking page says the venue has an on-site parking garage, that you can use the 15-minute zone on 3rd Street just outside the garage to reach the box office, and it links public transit information.

There is no camping. Haunted Fest Cincinnati is an evening event, so stay in Newport or across the river in downtown Cincinnati. PromoWest has an Eat & Stay page for the venue, but Breakaway has not announced hotel partners for this edition.

Tickets are sold through AXS and at the venue box office, which is open Tuesday to Friday from 11 AM to 3 PM and from 3 PM on weekend show days; it is cashless and adds a $4.00 handling fee per ticket. Will call opens about two hours before doors. PromoWest's FAQ says almost all of its events have no re-entry, and Breakaway's 2025 Haunted Fest Cincinnati page said there is no re-entry, so plan to stay once you are in.

What to Know Before You Go

Bring A Clear Tote Or Small Bag

PromoWest's bag policy allows clear totes up to 14 by 14 inches or small bags no larger than 5 by 8 by 1 inches, about the size of a hand. Backpacks are not permitted at any PromoWest venue, and oversized bags of any kind are on the prohibited list. Pack your phone, ID, card and a layer, and leave the backpack-style hydration pack at home.

Leave Flow Props At Home

PromoWest's prohibited list bans flow art props such as poi, Toroflux, hula hoops and sticks, plus glow sticks and glow items, laser pointers, poles, selfie sticks and items with spikes, studs or chains, including jewelry and clothing. Check your outfit before you leave, because a spiked choker or chain belt can be turned away at the gate.

Expect No Re-Entry

PromoWest's FAQ says almost all of its events have a no re-entry policy, and Breakaway's 2025 Haunted Fest Cincinnati page stated there is no re-entry. The FAQ adds that food, drinks and an ATM are available inside, so you do not need to step out. Grab anything from the car before you scan in, and agree on a meeting point with your group.

Haunted Fest Cincinnati is all ages, unlike the 18+ Atlanta, Charleston and St. Pete editions. PromoWest's FAQ says everyone, regardless of age, must have a ticket unless otherwise posted. If you bring younger fans, agree on a group plan before doors, because PromoWest describes most of its shows as general admission and standing room only.

Doors open at 6 PM on both nights, and PromoWest says live music usually starts about an hour after doors, though that can change. Set times have not been posted yet. If you are picking up will call, it opens about two hours before doors at the MegaCorp Pavilion box office, which is cashless and takes cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Dress For A Riverfront Night

The event is outdoors and rain or shine, on the Ohio River at the end of October. Umbrellas, chairs and blankets are on PromoWest's prohibited list, so bring a packable rain layer or a jacket instead. A costume with warm layers underneath works better than a light outfit once the sun goes down, and you can shed layers as the crowd warms up.
