Same Same But Different (SSBD) is a music and arts festival at Moreno Beach, inside Lake Perris State Park in Perris, California. The 2026 edition ran from Friday, September 25 to Sunday, September 27. Thursday, September 24 was arrival day with a pre-party, and campers had until 3 PM on Monday, September 28 to leave the park. The festival calls itself "the Little Festival That Could" and stays small on purpose: it limits ticket sales to 7,500.
The festival billed five main stages, with house and bass for dancing next to acoustic, jam, bluegrass and live music. Stages named for 2026 included the Same Stage, Coco Cove, InnerBass, The But and Nakey Island, a stage on the island in the middle of Lake Perris that attendees reached by boat ferry. The official lineup page opened its headliners with LSDREAM, Gramatik, Of The Trees and Tape B on the Same Stage, and on the Sunday the festival revealed Kill The Noise as the secret closing set of SSBD 2026 on the InnerBass stage.
Music was only part of it. SSBD advertised over 75 workshops (yoga, dance, meditation, arts and crafts), live painters and interactive art, and its official arrival guide pointed attendees to the Creation Station, the Family Garden, Community Meetups, LSDREAM's LIGHTCODE, Butwood and Grandma's House, a VIP Wellness Lounge with cold plunges and saunas, and Side Quests in the official app. Each day had a costume theme: Party Animals on Friday, Enchanted Forest on Saturday and 3AM at Walmart on Sunday.
