What is Seismic Dance Event 2026?

Seismic Dance Event 2026 is the festival's ninth edition, Seismic 9.0. It runs from Friday, November 13 to Sunday, November 15, 2026 at The Concourse Project, 8509 Burleson Road in Austin, Texas, by the south terminal of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Seismic is curated and produced by RealMusic Events, which also owns and operates the venue. The festival calls itself a boutique event for house, techno and underground music fans, kept at a purposefully intimate size. Every ticket is 18+.

The official lineup page lists 48 acts. Above & Beyond, horsegiirl, Sara Landry, Porter Robinson (DJ set), KI/KI and SG Lewis lead the bill, joined by Chris Lorenzo, Max Styler and Layton Giordani. Brutalismus 3000 also sits in the top block of the official lineup page. The festival sums up its sound as house, techno and everything in between, and the bill also takes in hard techno, melodic techno, UK garage and speed garage. The Phase 2 announcement on 3 September added the by-day lineups, an ØTTA x Hotties takeover of the Frequency stage on Saturday, November 14, a Next Gen House takeover of the same stage on Sunday, November 15, and the return of the Technobus.

The festival's own channels sum it up as 3 days and 3 stages: Volcano, Tsunami and Frequency, spread over indoor and outdoor areas. Besides the music, the official about page lists art installations, performers, food trucks and vendors, and says the event is run with sustainability in mind. DJ Mag nominated Seismic for Best Boutique Festival in its Best of North America poll in 2018 and 2023, and The Austin Chronicle nominated it for Best Music Festival in 2022/23.

Travel & Planning Guide

The Concourse Project is at 8509 Burleson Road, Austin, TX 78719, by the south terminal of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS). The festival strongly encourages rideshare: Uber and Lyft use a dedicated pick-up and drop-off zone on Daniel Alexander Way, right in front of the venue. On-site parking is very limited, and parking passes will be sold in advance. There is also an overflow lot with a shuttle at 812 Outdoor Market, just south of the venue down Highway 183, sold online in advance and on site until it is full. Parking prices and 2026 shuttle hours have not been announced yet (official FAQ, checked 29 Sep 2026).

The official site lists no camping (tents and EZ-ups are banned), so plan on a room. The festival's travel page suggests three areas. Downtown is a bit further and pricier, but most of its hotels are within walking distance of plenty of Austin attractions (the festival's picks include Van Zandt, Austin Proper, The Line and Fairmont). East Austin is more artsy, with bars and restaurants on foot, and is close to both downtown and the festival (East Austin Hotel, Inn Cahoots). Hotels by the airport are closer to the festival, more budget friendly and convenient, but further from the action (Courtyard by Marriott Austin Airport, Hyatt Place Austin Airport, Hilton Austin Airport).

First-timer tip: there are no ins and outs on a festival day, so once you are inside, you stay in until you leave for the night. Eat before you go or plan on the food trucks, and bring what you need for the whole day. For wristband pickup, have your ID, the QR code from your ticket email and a card ready, and keep the wristband on all weekend because it cannot be replaced. Hours are still to be announced, so check the official FAQ before you plan your ride.

What to Know Before You Go

Pack Light, Pack Legal

Keep your bag within 10 x 10 in and bring your water bottle or hydration pack empty. Vapes are allowed, but no cigarette smoking in or near crowds. Laser pointers mean immediate ejection, and airhorns, whistles, pacifiers, drones, large flashlights, outside food and drinks, and unsealed over-the-counter medication are all banned. Vitamins and supplements are not allowed either.

Totems And Flow Toys: Outdoors Only

Totems are allowed at Seismic 9.0, but only outdoors, and not if they are made of metal, have sharp parts or can be driven into the ground. Flow toys, including hoops and poi, are also outdoor only. Don't block other people's view, and if you use glitter, the festival asks for biodegradable glitter.

Rain Or Shine

Seismic goes ahead rain or shine. If there is lightning, severe wind, heavy rain or possible flooding, or damage to the grounds or production, the festival may clear the grounds on the call of its third-party public safety team and meteorologist. Parasols and umbrellas are allowed for sun or rain, but not inside. With stages both indoors and outdoors, bring a layer for the evening.

Guard Your Ticket And Wristband

All tickets are final sale and non-refundable, and a lineup or format change is not a reason for a refund. If you can't go, you can transfer your ticket to someone you know through the ticketing account (Eventim, formerly See Tickets). Once you have your wristband on site, keep it on: it cannot be replaced.

Protect Your Hearing

Three days in front of big sound systems adds up. Pack a pair of earplugs and take breaks away from the speakers, especially if you plan to stay for all three nights.

Look After Each Other

Medical staff are on site for the whole event, and the medical tent is clearly marked. If someone needs help, go to the nearest security officer, staff member, ambassador or medic. The festival's advice: if you're not sure it's an emergency, assume it is and get help right away. Lost something? Ask at the festival's Info booth during event hours.
