What is Yule Melt 2026?

Yule Melt 2026 is a one-night indoor festival on Saturday, December 12, 2026 at APEX Everett, 1611 Everett Avenue, Everett, WA 98201, about 30 miles north of Seattle. It is produced by Summer Meltdown Festival (Summer Meltdown LLC, the team behind the Pacific Northwest camping festival founded in 2000 by the band Flowmotion and produced by Josh Clauson), with Everett Music Initiative and APEX Everett listed as partners. The official Eventbrite page lists doors at 6 PM and a 1:30 AM finish, and the event is strictly 21+ with valid photo ID. The APEX event listing calls it "A Summer Meltdown Holiday Reunion", the first Meltdown gathering after several years without the summer festival.

The full lineup was announced with the on-sale on September 17, 2026 and has 10 artists: Neal Francis, Moontricks, Flowmotion, Manatee Commune, Vicci Martinez, Toy Box, Whalien, Panda Conspiracy, Mystre and Zubnotic. There are no day splits because it is a single night, and set times had not been posted on the official Yule Melt page when we checked on 3 Oct 2026. Music runs across three rooms of APEX: Kings Hall, the top-floor concert room, where VIP ticket holders get the private balcony; El Sid, the upstairs cocktail lounge and stage; and the Gatsby Room, which the Eventbrite listing says Bohemian Slapcity is turning into a bass room with a PK Sound system, flow arts and performances curated by Flowhaus Productions.

APEX Everett is a restored historic building in downtown Everett that houses the 16Eleven restaurant on the first level, El Sid one floor up and Kings Hall on the top floor, with murals, art and gathering spaces in between. The official page describes Yule Melt as a multi-level indoor festival rather than a concert: festive lighting, holiday decor, art installations, surprises and three bars spread across the floors, and you can move freely between rooms subject to each room's capacity. What makes it distinct is the reunion angle. The Eventbrite FAQ calls it "Meltdown's mischievous winter cousin", built for longtime Melters and first-timers alike, and costumes and winter weirdness are, in the promoter's words, wholeheartedly encouraged.

Travel & Planning Guide

Everett has its own commercial airport, Paine Field (PAE), roughly a 15 to 20 minute drive south-west of downtown, with daily Alaska Airlines flights; Seattle-Tacoma International (SEA) is about 40 miles south and 45 to 75 minutes by car depending on I-5 traffic. Without a car, Everett Station (3201 Smith Ave) is roughly a mile from APEX and is served by Sounder N Line commuter rail from Seattle, Amtrak Cascades and Community Transit and Everett Transit buses, but Sounder does not run late on Saturday nights, so plan a rideshare or a hotel for the way home. Parking is the open question: the official Eventbrite FAQ says parking information is coming soon and will be emailed to ticket holders before the event. APEX's own 16Eleven restaurant FAQ mentions a small private lot north of the building plus street parking and nearby lots. Rideshare drop-off on Everett Avenue is the simplest option for a 1:30 AM finish.

Downtown Everett has a handful of hotels within walking distance of APEX, and more chain hotels sit along I-5 and near Paine Field and Everett Mall, 10 to 15 minutes by car. Book early; a Saturday two weeks before Christmas is a busy weekend in a small downtown. Staying in Seattle (Ballard, Northgate or Lynnwood are the closest neighbourhoods on the I-5 corridor) is realistic if someone in your group is driving, but budget for a 45 to 60 minute late-night trip back. There is no camping and no shuttle programme for Yule Melt.

Tickets are sold only through Eventbrite and delivered electronically to the Eventbrite app or your email, with a maximum of 10 per order and a strict no-refund policy. Doors open at 6 PM and the FAQ recommends arriving early because music runs in several rooms all evening; VIP includes expedited entry, a dedicated bar line and private balcony seating in Kings Hall. Everyone shows valid photo ID at the door (21+ only). A re-entry policy has not been published, so assume no re-entry until the promoter says otherwise. Once inside, your ticket covers every room, and the FAQ says you can wander between them subject to individual room capacities, so hit the smaller rooms early.

What to Know Before You Go

🎟️
Buy Early Bird While It Lasts

On the official Eventbrite page, checked 3 Oct 2026, Early Bird GA is $69 ($81.33 after the $5 Eventbrite fee and $7.33 tax) and is marked limited quantity. Regular GA is already listed at $79 ($92.63 all-in) for when the early tier closes. VIP Early Bird at $112.12 sold out within days of the September 17 on-sale, so if you want the Kings Hall balcony, grab VIP Tier 1 at $132.12 before it steps up too.

🪪
Bring A Real ID, Not A Photo Of It

Yule Melt is 21+ for every ticket, and the Eventbrite FAQ says all attendees must have valid photo ID. APEX's own house rules for the 16Eleven restaurant inside the building accept only valid, government-issued IDs such as a driver's licence, state ID, passport or military ID, and expired or digital IDs are refused. Treat the whole building the same way and carry the physical card.

🚪
Arrive At 6 PM And Work The Small Rooms

Doors open at 6 PM and the official FAQ recommends arriving early because there is a lot to explore and music happens across multiple rooms all evening. Your ticket gets you into Kings Hall, El Sid and the Gatsby Room, but access is subject to each room's capacity. The Gatsby Room bass set-up on a PK Sound system is the one most likely to hit capacity late, so check it out before the headline sets.

🍔
Eat Before Or Book 16Eleven Separately

The Eventbrite FAQ says three bars will be open throughout the venue and El Sid, the cocktail lounge and stage, will offer a food menu during the event. The full-service restaurant on the first level, 16Eleven, is open 4 PM to 10:30 PM on Saturdays, but you must reserve with them separately from your Yule Melt ticket; 16Eleven recommends reservations on event nights. No outside food or drink is allowed in the building.

✨
Dress Up, It Is Meltdown

The official FAQ answers "Should I dress up?" with: you certainly don't have to, but this is Meltdown, and costumes, sparkle, winter weirdness and creative self-expression are wholeheartedly encouraged. It is an indoor venue in December, so you will go from a cold sidewalk to a sweaty dance floor; wear a layer you can tie around your waist or check, and comfortable shoes for stairs between three floors.

🚗
Plan Your 1:30 AM Exit Now

The show ends at 1:30 AM and official parking guidance is still listed as coming soon, to be shared with ticket holders before the event. Everett's Sounder train does not run that late, so your realistic options are a designated driver, a rideshare from Everett Avenue, or a downtown Everett hotel within walking distance. If you are driving up from Seattle, budget 45 to 60 minutes each way and sort the driver before you buy drinks.
