What is HEX Festival 2026?

HEX 2026 is a new two-night bass music festival built around Halloween weekend. It runs Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31, 2026 on the Festival Grounds at Rawhide Western Town & Event Center, 5700 W North Loop Rd, Chandler, AZ 85226, in the Phoenix metro area. It is presented by Relentless Beats, the Arizona promoter behind Decadence Arizona and Goldrush, under its bass sub-brand Aftershock. The Relentless Beats event page lists doors and music at 5:00 PM and a 1:00 AM curfew on both nights, and the event is 18+ with a government-issued ID required. The official site bills it as a "Bass Music Halloween Experience", and the 2026 edition is the first one.

The full 2026 lineup is out: 22 artists, split by day on the official lineup page. Friday is led by Subtronics and INZO, with Badklaat, Dennett, Inaktiv, Izzy Vadim, Layz, Nikademis, Onara, Sora and local guest Linz. Saturday, Halloween night, is led by Excision and ATLiens, with Decimate, Hurtbox, Modal Nodes, Proxxxy, Riot Ten B2B PhaseOne, Softest Hard, Xaebor, YVM3 and local guest DeathBeat. The official lineup page tags the four headliners to a stage called The Altar. The June announcement, as reported by Dubstep FBI and Fresh Music Freaks, describes two stages: a main stage for the biggest productions and a second stage focused on bass and riddim. Set times had not been posted on the official site as of October 3, 2026.

Rawhide is a 160-acre venue on the Gila River Indian Community directly off I-10 in Chandler, with a replica 1880s Western town next to the open-air Festival Grounds lawn where HEX takes place. The Relentless Beats venue page puts overall capacity at 10,000 and the on-site parking lot at roughly 4,000 spaces. The venue has been cashless for food and drink since October 1, 2024 and enforces a clear bag policy. What sets HEX apart from the rest of the Relentless Beats calendar is the date: it lands on Halloween itself, costumes are part of the point, and the bill is bass-only, with no house or trance stage. Relentless Beats runs Obsidian in Phoenix the following weekend and Decadence Arizona at Phoenix Raceway on December 30 and 31, so HEX is the opening act of its fall and winter festival run.

Travel & Planning Guide

Rawhide is in Chandler, on the south side of the Phoenix metro area, and Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX) is the airport to fly into. The Rawhide FAQ gives the driving route: I-10 to exit 162, Wild Horse Pass, then Wild Horse Pass Boulevard to 48th Street. The Relentless Beats venue page says the on-site lot holds roughly 4,000 cars, that public bus access is minimal, and that designated rideshare pick-up and drop-off points are set up near the main entrance during major events. Parking prices for HEX had not been published on the official site as of October 3, 2026. If you drive, arrive before the 5:00 PM doors, because everyone leaves at the 1:00 AM curfew at once.

There is no camping at HEX. The official travel page points to a Crewfare hotel portal with rates at official HEX hotels; on October 3, 2026 that portal showed a hotel search for October 30 and 31 but did not list specific hotels or prices on the landing page. Chandler, Tempe and the Ahwatukee side of Phoenix are the closest hotel areas to the I-10 Wild Horse Pass exit. Sunday, November 1 is the morning after Halloween night, so book a late checkout if you can.

Tickets are sold through Tixr and live in your Tixr account; the Relentless Beats FAQ says a printed ticket or a phone with an uncracked screen at full brightness is what scans at the gate. Bring a physical government-issued photo ID; the Relentless Beats venue page says entry strictly requires a valid, physical ID. The clear bag policy applies at the gate, and there is no re-entry, so anything you leave in the car stays in the car. Rawhide has been cashless for food and drink since October 1, 2024, so bring a card or phone wallet. Lost and found is handled by the Rawhide admin office, (480) 502-5600, weekdays 9 AM to 4 PM.

Plan the drive, not just the show

Rawhide sits directly off I-10 at exit 162 (Wild Horse Pass) and the Relentless Beats venue page says the on-site lot holds about 4,000 cars with minimal bus access, so most people drive or take a rideshare. Doors are at 5:00 PM and curfew is 1:00 AM both nights. Arrive early, drop a pin for the designated rideshare zone near the main entrance before you lose signal in the crowd, and agree on a meeting spot for the exit rush.

Clear bag or small clutch, and no re-entry

The Relentless Beats FAQ allows a clear plastic, vinyl or mesh bag up to 15 x 15 x 5 inches, one small clutch up to 5 x 7 x 2 inches, and empty hydration packs, and nothing else. Re-entry is not permitted at any of its events, so pack everything you need for eight hours before you walk through the gate. Leave glass, cans, markers, laser pointers, eye drops, chains and spiked jewelry in the car; all of them are on the prohibited list.

Dress for a desert night, costume included

The show starts at 5:00 PM and sunset on October 31 in Chandler is about 5:36 PM, with average lows around 53°F by late October. Build your costume in layers: a jersey or hoodie over the outfit for the first and last hours, lighter underneath for the main stage. The Relentless Beats FAQ allows glowing costumes and sealed sunscreen but bans large chains, spiked jewelry and anything that counts as a weapon, so skip prop blades.

Bring your own water in

Relentless Beats lets you bring two factory-sealed water bottles of any size plus an empty hydration pack, which is more generous than most festivals. Use both. Two stages of dubstep and riddim for eight hours in dry desert air dehydrates you faster than it feels, and there is no re-entry to go refill at the car. Fill the pack at the free water stations inside, if provided, and keep the sealed bottles for the walk back to the lot.

Card, phone wallet and a real ID

Rawhide has been cashless for food and drink since October 1, 2024, so cash alone will not buy you a water or a drink. The venue page says entry requires a valid, physical government-issued ID and the Relentless Beats FAQ says 18+ events have strict age limits, so a photo of your ID on your phone will not get you in. Keep the ID in the small clutch, not loose in a pocket you will be dancing in.

The official tickets page lists GA, GA+ and VIP 2-day passes and says tiers vanish once they are gone; the Relentless Beats event page showed passes from $86.41 on October 3, 2026. All sales are final with no refunds or exchanges, per the Relentless Beats FAQ, and payment plans and card changes are managed inside your Tixr account. Buy only from Tixr, since a resale pass that was charged back will not scan.
