The full story of Alok's rise, sound and signature catalogue.

Alok — born Alok Achkar Peres Petrillo in Goiânia, Brazil — is one of the most successful electronic artists in the world. The child of pioneering Brazilian DJs, he helped define the “Brazilian bass” sound and has become a fixture near the very top of the DJ Mag Top 100.

By 2025 Alok had climbed to #3 on the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs. Explore more artists in the DJ directory, or read more on Alok's Wikipedia page.
