Aly & Fila are the Egyptian duo — Aly Amr Fathalah and Fadi Wassef Naguib — who became one of the most devoted standard-bearers for uplifting trance. From Cairo, the pair turned pure, emotional, melodic trance into a global movement.
Their debut “Eye of Horus” was championed by Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren and Ferry Corsten, and they went on to win multiple A State of Trance Tune of the Year awards. Their Future Sound of Egypt (FSOE) label and radio show became one of trance’s most important institutions.
