Claptone is a German DJ and producer who performs entirely in character — a long black coat, white gloves and an unmistakable golden plague-doctor mask — to keep his identity anonymous. Behind the persona is a sound rooted in deep, melodic and vocal-driven house.
He broke through in 2013 with “No Eyes” featuring Jaw, then built a global following with his 2015 debut album Charmer and an acclaimed remix of Gregory Porter's “Liquid Spirit.” He has since won DJ Awards and held long residencies across Ibiza.
