Fred again.. — born Frederick Gibson in London — is one of the most acclaimed producers in modern dance music. Mentored by Brian Eno as a teenager, he became a hit songwriter before launching his own artist project built around sampling voice notes, interviews and the texture of everyday life.
His Actual Life album trilogy (2021–2022) made him a phenomenon, and a viral Boiler Room set sealed it. In 2024 he won the Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Recording for “Rumble” with Skrillex and Flowdan, plus Best Dance/Electronic Album for Actual Life 3.
