Gordo — real name Diamanté Anthony Blackmon — is an American DJ and producer who first found fame as the EDM and trap star Carnage. In 2021 he retired that name and rebranded as Gordo, pivoting fully into house, tech house and Latin-tinged underground sounds.
His single “Taraka” (2021) launched both his new sound and a globe-trotting Taraka event series known for extended sets and surprise guests. He also produced several tracks on Drake's #1 album Honestly, Nevermind, including “Sticky,” and later teamed with Drake again on “Sideways.”
