Illenium — born Nicholas Miller — is the American DJ and producer who turned melodic bass into one of the most emotional and beloved sounds in modern EDM. Based in Denver, Illenium fuses heavy dubstep and future bass drops with soaring, heartfelt vocals, building a devoted fanbase known as the Illenials.
After breaking through with his 2016 debut album Ashes and 2017’s Awake, Illenium hit #1 on the dance charts with Ascend (2019) and earned a Grammy nomination for Fallen Embers. His signature phoenix imagery and his pashmina-waving crowds have become symbols of a community built on the idea of rising from the ashes.
