ISOxo — born Julian Isorena in San Diego — is one of the most exciting young producers in experimental bass. Of Filipino and Indonesian heritage, he started producing as a kid and played his first DJ show at 16, where he met his best friend and frequent collaborator Knock2.
His sound combines trap percussion, drum-and-bass energy and head-banging drops with floaty, melancholic melodies — an ethereal take on bass music that's earned him a devoted following. His EP Nightrealm and debut album kidsgonemad! (via 88rising) cemented his rise.
