Maceo Plex — real name Eric Estornel — is an American DJ and producer of Cuban heritage, born in Flower Mound, Texas and now based in Barcelona. He's known for a deep, melodic and cinematic take on techno and tech house, and also records under the aliases Maetrik and Mariel Ito.
He broke through in 2010 with “Vibe Your Love” and his acclaimed 2011 debut album Life Index. In 2012 he founded the influential label Ellum Audio and won Best Deep House DJ at the DJ Awards, becoming an Ibiza mainstay in the process.
