Tahoe Live 2026 takes place on Friday, December 11, Saturday, December 12 and Sunday, December 13, 2026 at Palisades Tahoe, 1960 Olympic Valley Road, Olympic Valley, CA 96146, the ski resort that hosted the 1960 Winter Olympics about 45 miles from Reno. The festival is produced by the Tahoe Live team led by founder and CEO Dustin Esson, who also runs the Park City Live venue in Utah, with Palisades Tahoe as venue partner. The official guide lists the same hours all three days: box office 2pm to 9pm, gates 3pm to 10pm, music ends at 10pm. It is an 18+ event, and the Palisades Tahoe event page adds "no exceptions". This is the fourth edition at Palisades (the festival launched in 2022 and moved here in 2023) and the second three-day one; the 2025 edition sold out, according to the Sierra Sun.
The 2026 lineup is out: 21 artists, listed alphabetically on the official lineup page, with Chris Lake, GRiZ and Knock2 at the top, then Madeon (DJ set), Noizu, Teddy Pain (T-Pain's DJ set), Walker & Royce and YDG, followed by Cole Knight, Control Freak, Daniel Allan, DEVAULT, HerShe, Klo, Mary Droppinz, Nala, WINK x Nikko, BUNS, KHØDA LEON, DJ UNI and Zaddy B. The announcement, reported by TicketNews on September 15, 2026, says performances happen on a single stage at the base of the mountain so you can see every artist without overlapping set times, and that more artists are still to be announced. The official lineup page has an "Artists By Day" tab, but as of October 3, 2026 it is empty, so day splits and set times are not announced yet. Esson told Exron Music the 2026 bill was deliberately opened up from last year's bass-heavy lineup to house, bass and high-energy electronic.
The official location page says the festival is built in the parking lot next to the Palisades Tahoe Aerial Tram, a five-minute walk from The Village at Palisades Tahoe, at about 6,200 feet of elevation. GA gets the full grounds, local food vendors and several bars and beer gardens; VIP adds a dedicated check-in lane, private restrooms, VIP-only bars and food, a heated lounge and a private viewing area close to the stage, per the official ticket info page. The FAQ promises free water refill stations, marked first aid, an ADA viewing area with wristbands from the box office, and a totem policy (10 ft max, foam or PVC, no metal). What makes Tahoe Live different is the format: Palisades' VP of marketing Matt Peterson calls it the only dance music festival held on the grounds of a U.S. ski resort, so you can ski or ride by day, then walk from the lifts to the stage at night. The Palisades Tahoe blog also lists a KT Bass Bar pre-party from 11am to 3pm before doors each day.
