What should guys wear to EDC?
Good EDC outfits for guys start with one printed jersey worn open over a plain tee or tank, then shorts, broken-in sneakers, and a small bag that fits the rules. Add a hooded layer you can carry, because neither edition lets you leave and come back in. EDC Orlando runs November 6–8, 2026, at Tinker Field, and EDC Las Vegas runs May 14–16 and 21–23, 2027, at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
EDC doesn’t publish a dress code. It recommends lightweight, breathable clothes and comfortable sneakers, and keeping an eye on the weather reports.

Throw a rave cloak over the jersey when the music stops, for the walk to your ride in Orlando (there’s no camping) or a Camp EDC morning in Vegas. What should guys wear to EDC Las Vegas?
EDC Las Vegas 2027 runs two weekends at Las Vegas Motor Speedway: EDC Dusk, May 14–16, and EDC Dawn, May 21–23. The full grounds open 7 PM to 5:30 AM, with a 5 PM Opening Ceremony at Cosmic Meadow each Friday. Sunset comes at about 7:39–7:46 PM, and sunrise is right around the close, so you arrive in daylight and leave at first light.
Over the nine EDC Las Vegas nights of 2024–2026, the KLSV weather station read 79–96°F at 7 PM and 66–88°F at midnight. Most nights were still 69–77°F at 5 AM. Two windy nights fell to about 60°F, with gusts of about 49 and 55 mph, and the station reported dust one evening. Wear shorts and an open jersey at the gates, with a hooded jersey tied at your waist for the small hours.

What should guys wear to EDC Orlando in November?
EDC Orlando 2026 runs Friday to Sunday, November 6–8, at Tinker Field, its home since Electric Daisy Carnival came to Orlando in 2011. It’s 1 PM to midnight each day, with no camping. The sun sets around 5:36 PM, so the first four and a half hours are in daylight.
The nearest airport weather station, Orlando Executive, is about 4.4 miles away. On the nine festival days of 2023–2025, it read 74–94°F at 1 PM and 69–77°F with 76–94% humidity at midnight. NOAA’s 1991–2020 normal for 11 PM on these dates is about 67°F, and one year in ten it’s 59°F or cooler.
Dress for a warm, sticky afternoon: shorts and a light jersey over a tee, plus sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen lotion, all on the allowed list. Bring a hooded jersey for a shower or a cool front. Is there a dress code at EDC?
No. Neither edition’s FAQ includes a dress-code entry, and Insomniac’s Headliner’s Handbook says to express yourself however you choose. In a 2015 Beyond Wonderland piece, Insomniac’s own magazine argued that dressed-down ravers are fans too. EDC publishes a banned-items list, and it includes some clothing.
- Banned at both: outfits that look like police, SWAT, fire, security, medical, or event-staff uniforms (including hi-vis vests), gas masks, aerosols, markers and spray paint, red light-up wands, batons or lightsabers, and blankets.
- Also banned in Orlando: large chains or spiked jewelry, LED gloves or microlights for light shows, liquid makeup (powder is fine), fake weapons and props such as whips and lightsabers, and stuffed animals. The Vegas list, read October 6, 2026, doesn’t name these but bans weapons of any kind.
- Allowed at both: glowing or light-up clothing and jewelry, LED poi and orbitals, and hula hoops, LED ones included.
A sports-style jersey isn’t on either list. Rules change between editions, so reread the Hours & Info page for EDC Orlando or EDC Las Vegas before you go.
What shoes and bag should guys bring to EDC?
EDC’s wellness page says “Comfortable sneakers are the best way to go.” It also warns that sandals or flip-flops can leave your feet sore. Orlando’s grounds are grass and concrete, and Vegas is concrete with some grass. There’s no transport between stages, and every Vegas entrance except the accessible Gate S has stairs. Wear broken-in sneakers with socks. Security screening is TSA-style, and you may be asked to remove your shoes.
- Clear bag: up to 12 x 6 x 12 in.
- Clutch: up to 6 x 9 in.
- Hydration pack: two main compartments and one smaller one at most, empty at entry. Refills inside are free.
- Bottle: empty and reusable.
There are no ins and outs, so whatever you’ll want later has to come in with you. Tie the hooded jersey at your waist, or rent a locker, which has a phone charger inside.
How do you get matching crew jerseys for EDC?
Pick one design for your crew and put each person’s name and number on the back. EDC’s safety advice is to stick together, set meeting points, and leave with everyone. Yes, shorts are fine EDC attire for guys. EDC has no dress code and recommends lightweight, breathable clothes. On recent editions, local weather stations read 74–94°F at 1 PM in Orlando and 79–96°F at 7 PM in Vegas. Bring a hooded layer either way, and add joggers if the forecast shows a windy Vegas night or a cool front in Orlando.
